The Plastic Problem

Plastic pollution is the accumulation of plastic objects and particles in the Earth’s environment that is affecting humans, wildlife, and their habitat. 

The plastic we use at WaterMate® is sourced through an interception program that reimburses fishing communities for their retired fishing gear. These recovered nets and ropes would alternatively head for landfill, incineration or risk becoming ocean bound.

All of our products are only made with non-toxic materials.
